Background and Source of Expertise

Prior to launching my consulting and speaking practice in 2006, I worked as an executive director of a mental health organization, as a newspaper columnist and an avid volunteer serving on various non-profit boards.

Behind the scenes of my thriving business, I was struggling with grief and chronic nerve pain. I noticed many of my clients had difficult behind-the-scenes stories, too. Frustrated by typical, often trite resilience and stress management advice, I gathered insights from various modalities to formulate my own frameworks.
